The CSR Stakeholder Forum, an initiative of the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, in association with Cork Chamber of Commerce invites you

to a CSR Workshop for SMEs

from 10:00-12:30 on Thursday 12 March in Nano Nagle Place, Cork City.

The workshop will be followed by the launch of the Chambers Ireland CSR Awards 2020.

What’s it all about?

In today's challenging business environment businesses need to drive their competitive advantage to succeed - but in a responsible manner. CSR is about going 'beyond compliance' and not just meeting regulation but exceeding it - making your business more competitive and resilient.

Businesses and organisations that embed CSR at the heart of their business can become more resilient by:

• Driving sustainability

• Attracting and retaining talent

• Fostering social cohesion

• Protecting the environment.

 

Who should attend?

SMEs who want to learn what Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is or to deepen their knowledge of CSR and how it can benefit their business and benefit society.

Please note that this is a business workshop and is only open to businesses interested in learning about CSR. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation reserve the right of admission.

Location: Nano Nagle Place, South Presentation Centre Limited, Douglas Street, Cork City, T12 X70A. Please note there is no parking available at Nano Nagle Place. The venue is approx. 20 min walk from the train station and 12 min walk from the bus station.
