LOCAL ENTERPRISE WEEK 2019 (#MakingItHappen)
Local Enterprise Week, a Local Enterprise Office initiative, runs from Monday, March 4th to Friday, March 8th under the theme of ‘Making It Happen.’
It’s supported by Enterprise Ireland, the local authorities and the Government of Ireland.
Local Enterprise Offices are celebrating Local Enterprise Week with over 370 events across the country, to help businesses, plan, start and grow in 2019.
More than 80 events will have a Brexit theme and include –
Brexit Advisory Clinic in Donegal (March 5th, with Enterprise Ireland)
Prepare Your Business for Customs Workshop in Cork (March 8th)
How to Brexit-Proof Your Business Seminar in South Dublin (March 7th)
Preparing Hard for Brexit Advisory Clinic in Laois (March 7th)
Other popular topics in 2019 include: starting your own business, boosting online sales, improving competitiveness, trends in technology and exploring new markets.
Local Enterprise Offices are collaborating with many different state agencies, public bodies and private sector groups and entrepreneurs on their Local Enterprise Week event programmes.
These include: Microfinance Ireland, Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland, Credit Review Office, InterTradeIreland, Library Services within local authorities, Chambers of Commerce, Business Innovation Centres, Enterprise Centres, Business Networks, Údaras na Gaeltachta and Fáilte Ireland.
