The Trading Online Voucher Scheme is an initiative which offers a voucher of up to €2,500 (with 50% co-funding by the applicant) to help businesses develop their online trading capability and includes training sessions that cover various topics, including developing a website, digital marketing, social media for business and search engine optimisation.

The Trading Online Voucher Scheme is open to established microenterprises across a broad range of sectors. Businesses who have already received a Trading Online Voucher can apply for a second voucher to upgrade their capabilities.

Digital Start is an initiative designed to help businesses prepare and implement a plan for the adoption of digital tools and techniques across the business. Digital Start will provide strategic intervention for businesses to work with third party consultants to:

• Assist them in identifying where they are on their digital business journey.
• Develop a digital adaptation plan based on their identified need.
• Implement their digital adaptation plan.

Digital Start may be used to obtain digital strategy, technical and/or advisory service from approved providers. Maximum value of the Digital Start support per applicant business is €4,500 incl. VAT.

The Digital Transition Fund aims to assist SMEs with undertaking a transformative digitalisation of their entire enterprise. Some of these changes include getting online, marketing online, mitigating cyber security risks, and digitalising operations.

There are various grants available within the Digital Transition Fund. The criteria for eligibility will depend on company size and the level of exporting.
