Sell to Government
Public procurement is a key element of the Government’s Public Service Reform Programme. It refers to the process by which public bodies purchase works, goods or services from suppliers which they have selected for this purpose. It ranges from the purchase of routine goods or services to large scale contracts for infrastructural projects, and involves a wide and diverse range of contracting authorities.
The State spends approximately €8.5 billion on goods and services annually and it is essential that this money is spent in a way that achieves maximum value for money and a sustainable delivery of public services for the taxpayer. The eTenders procurement website displays all Irish public sector procurement opportunities advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union.
